It was wonderful to meet the Aravena Family and their adorable grandkids, Emily and Jackson. Kristi and Pato thought it would be fun to get some pictures with the four of them. It was so fun getting to know their sweet and spunky personalities! Here are some of my favorites from their session.
Mom life routine. Wake up. Get toddler cheerios. Play “baby shark” videos on repeat. Then we play outside its its nice, run errands or go to memaw’s house. It’s a simple routine but I love it.
If you have never been to the tulip festival in Mt. Vernon, I highly recommend it, there were SO MANY TULIPS! It was kind of surreal, it felt like I was walking around in a children’s story book. We drove up on Sunday with my family and took our time walking through all of the different colored rows of tulips. It was super muddy and Vivien’s favorite part was jumping in the puddles and trying to pick the flowers while the man in the orange vest gave me the side eye. (If you’ve been to the tulip festival you know what I’m talking about haha)
It felt so good to get out of our every day routine and explore. This spring and summer I really want to spend more of my time traveling and seeing pretty things. What are some fun day trips in the PNW that are children friendly and within a few hours of Tacoma?
This little guy recently had a birthday so it was time to document! Braxton and his family were so fun to hang out with. He was a little unsure at first as I’m sure most 2 year olds would be with a lady holding a big camera in their face following them around. Once he warmed up he was so happy and had the best smile! We looked for airplanes in the sky and ran around while exploring new areas of the park. He loved his T rex shoes and I can’t blame him, they were awesome! At the end I was able to sneak in some pictures of his sweet little sister, Zyla.
We are already a few weeks into spring and there are so many things I want to do! It’s really easy to get caught up in the busy everyday and completely forget about all the fun things because I have serious mom brain and lists are my friend.
The Anderson family is very close to my heart. I went to school with Olivia, we have known each other for years, her and her family are like family to me. I remember when Olivia was in another state away at college, she told me about this great guy she met named Garrett. Fast forward a few years and here they are with a beautiful family with two perfect little boys. Their oldest was born 4 days after Vivien was born. Olivia and I were able to navigate motherhood together and it was such a relief to have someone else experience all the same “firsts” as you at the same time.
During this session I got to meet Winston for the second time and he is so full of personality it is amazing. The first time I met him he was a teeny tiny one week old little baby, he has grown so much! Samson and Winston are the sweetest brothers and I can’t wait to watch them grow up together.
